Microplastic
Isn’t fantastic
It’s in our rice
And that’s not nice
Unless you try rinsing it
Which helps a tiny bit
It’s in all kinds of foods
And can’t be removed
And the experts surmise
A credit card size
Of plastic’s ingested
And it’s all undetected
When we chomp certain foods
That also include
Plastic pellets called nurdles
Which create a hurdle
To safe, healthy eating
So let’s start retreating
From food packed in plastic
As it’s not fantastic
